The most popular cross country league in West Yorkshire

Senior Entry Information

The PECO Cross Country League is a series of 5 cross country races organised in and around Leeds in which clubs affiliated to the League compete across men's and ladies divisions. Each race is about 4-5 miles.

The only way to enter the race series is to buy a season ticket online in advance for just £15, which provides entry to all five races. Once registered and paid for, you will not need to register again all season. You will collect your season race number from you club representative, either in advance, or at the first race you attend. Then you just turn up to each race with your number and run.

All entrants will be allocated a race number (with timing chip) which they must keep for the whole season. Replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £3 for seniors.

RULES FOR ENTRY:
1. The league is exclusive to the clubs that are members of the PECO XC league.
2. All competitors must be paid up members of a club which is affiliated to England Athletics at the time of the race.
3. Club members must be affiliated to England Athletics at the time of the race If you are in any doubt about whether you are currently affiliated to EA, please contact your club membership secretary and/or email bob@pecoxc.co.uk.
4. Affiliated members of non-League clubs may run as guests.
5. Unattached runners are NOT permitted to participate.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO ENTER ON THE DAY, then you will be defined as a "guest" and will not contribute to your team score or individual cumulative points total. Only advance entries will be League "counters".

Junior Entry Information

On each of the 5 dates for the senior races, prior to the senior race are two separate races for juniors – approximately 1 mile for juniors in school years 2 to 6 (i.e. under 11 on 1 September) and approximately 2 miles for school years 7 to 11.  These are also chip timed

The only way to enter the race series is to buy a season ticket online in advance for just £7. This provides entry to all five races. Once registered and paid for, you will not need to register again all season. You will collect your season race number from your club representative, either in advance or at the first race you attend. Then you just turn up each month with your number and run.

All entrants will be allocated a race number (with an embedded timing chip) which they must keep for the whole season. Replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £2.50.
