Post Race Food
Food will be served at The Gledhow Sports and Social Club (Gledhow Ln, Leeds LS8 1NQ) after the event with jacket potatoes on the menu. Parking is available in the club’s car park or via free street parking outside of the club. Please do not wear muddy shoes when entering the club. We look forward to seeing you after the race!

Car Parking:
Parking will be available on Soldiers Field via Park Avenue and West Avenue (please see the points of interest map). There is other car parking located on Princes Avenue and Mansion Lane however we have been advised to use Soldiers Field where possible, so other park users are not inconvenienced.

Toilet facilities will be available in the Manor House as well as at the Lakeside Cafe. Please leave these as you would wish to find them and avoid wearing muddy shoes when entering the buildings.

The Junior Course – 1.2 mile and 2 miles
The junior 1.2 mile course starts at the same start point as the senior race heading up to Soldiers Field and doing one lap before returning to the finish point adjacent to the Start. For the 2 mile junior course an extra lap will be added around soldiers field before returning to the same start/finish point

The Senior Course – 4.8 miles approx
The senior route starts in the same place as the juniors and will be a mass start with both Male and Ladies starting at the same time. The first part of the course heads up to Soldiers Field starting off running parallel to Princes Avenue. After a lap of the field the route heads down towards Waterloo Lake before going into the woodlands at the north of the park. The route then passes the Upper Lake and leads back to the finish line adjacent to the start point. The route has several steep ascents and decents over a variety of different terrains so please take care when running.

Things to Note:
The park is of course still open to the public so please consider walkers, runners, dog walkers etc when running. The route will be taped, and marshals will be located at strategic points throughout the course and will advise on the route and any obstacles that may be upcoming. We advise that trail shoes should be worn given the route terrain and likelihood that it can become very muddy in places.
