The Courses
We are very grateful to The Yorkshire Agricultural Society for letting us use their land. The area will be familiar to many as the home of The Great Yorkshire Show.

Crimple Valley is very popular with dog walkers and ramblers. We have no right of way over anyone else using the paths or trails so please be courteous at all times.

All courses will be marked or flagged, marshalled, be very muddy in places, there are some quite technical area with exposed tree roots and rocks, also some low hanging branches in the wooded area, the courses are not suitable for spikes owing to linking paths of gravel, tarmac and concrete. Quoted measurements are approximate.

The 1 mile Junior course. Is run on a mixture of grass, trail and a wooded area where extra care is needed to avoid exposed roots and rocks.

The 2 mile junior course. After a lap of the field the course is again run on a mixture of grass, trail and a wooded area. Again extra care is needed to avoid exposed tree roots and rocks. In both courses some areas are going to be muddy but because of linking sections of gravel and tarmac spikes are not recommended.

The senior course of 4.5 miles. The route is one large lap followed by a smaller lap on different paths. The route takes in grass, trails, a wooded area and a technical climb up a path, which has exposed tree roots and large stones and rocks. Please take care when navigating these areas.
