Please note there has been a query regarding club/athlete affiliation.
Clubs and individual runners need to be affiliated to England Athletics to compete in the Peco XC League.
There is no obligation for clubs to pay the £2/runners levy to Northern Athletics.
When entering on the Racebest page, runners will be asked to enter their club and their affiliation number.

PECO XC Races have moved to an online entry system - Update below!

There is an options for both Seniors and Juniors to enter either the whole series (i.e. to buy a series ‘season ticket’) or just to enter Race 1 (individual entries for Races 2 – 5 will be available at the appropriate times).

A link to the entry pages on RaceBest (www.racebest.com) is above and entry is on the following basis:

1) Senior series entry (chip timing race number & 5 race entries) at a total cost of £14.
Series race numbers can be collected from your Club Representative on or before the first race.
After this, just turn up and run – no need to queue for registration, etc.

2) Senior single race entry (chip timing number & 1 race entry) at a total cost of £7 (£3 for the race number, £4 for race entry). After this, subsequent races can be entered at a cost of £4 per race (provided the original race number is not lost / destroyed / forgotten)

3) Junior series entry (chip timing race number & 5 race entries) at a total cost of £6. Series race numbers can be collected from club reps / junior reps on the morning of the first race. After this, just turn up and run.

4) Junior single race entry (chip timing number & 1 race entry) at a total cost of £4 (£2.50 for the race number, £1.50 for race entry). After this, subsequent races can be entered at a cost of £1.50 per race (provided the original race number is not lost / destroyed / forgotten)

The deadline for online series registrations was Thursday 15th November, but is extended until 12.00pm on Friday 23rd November (which is also the deadline for anyone wanting to enter Race 1 rather than the series).
Only those who have entered by Thursday 15th November will have their name and club printed on their race numbers.
Anyone who has not entered by 12.00pm on the 23rd may still enter on the day (at Registration in the Parkside Suite at the John Charles Centre for Sport), but will run as a ‘Guest’ in Race 1 and will NOT be eligible to ‘count’ for team scores or for individual series points.

All the above also applies to Juniors, with the exception that Juniors entering on the day WILL be eligible for individual series points (there are no Juniors teams).

Registration will be open to deal with ‘on the day’ entries, guest runner entries, queries and to hand out sets of race numbers to club reps – it will NOT be open to deal with pre-entered runners!
Pre-entered runners should NOT go to registration.
Club reps should arrange to hand out numbers outside at John Charles or at their club tents, to avoid overcowding inside.
